1) Shitting, or specifically, what happens after you take your dump. They shoot you, wet you, then blow you dry. slurp. And the seats keep them arses warm!

2) Service is like nowhere else in the world i know. Whoever the fuck mentioned that service in Singapore is good must have only took reference from our immediate neighbours.

3) I don’t remember walking anywhere for more than fifteen minutes without encountering a train station. Okay, i’m exaggerating, but they have stations everywhere!

Special mention- I was greatly amused at how fucking expensive everything was. They told me it is. I just never thought it really is that expensive because people tend to exaggerate facts you know.

I would say my immaculate planning resulted in a successful trip, so time to plan for another one?

The last weekend presented me with a pleasant dilemma. Nothing mind boggling, just one last adventure; down south to Melbourne and the Twelve Apostles, diving/snorkeling up north at The Great Barrier Reefs or a humble road trip to pay the famed Byron Bay a visit.

And after much deliberation and planning with the better half, we headed to Byron Bay in time for sunrise.

By this time, driving two hours from 3 A.M without sleep prior while the girlfriend napped snugly in the backseat, was starting to take a toll on me. The fasting obligation didn’t offer much help, only that i began mindlessly conversing with Firdy. Driving off to our next destination wouldn’t have made it much worse, except that it wasn’t a road i drove on, but a fucking gravel terrain, complete with REAL holes, fucking rivers we had to cross(no there were no bridges) and random wildlife dashing across!!

This place creeps me out even in broad daylight

It really does. From the architecture, to the people, to the fashion, to the lifestyle, to the dogs, to the….you get my drift. It’s like I dreamt of the white men’s Jamaica. The people there have a theory that it is alright to smoke marijuana. It is a lifestyle, like drinking alcohol. They are out to prove that a civil society and marijuana can co-exist. Like most other societies, they are very much against violence and crimes, which is suppose to emphasize that societies can thrive with the aid of marijuana.

All I’m saying is that it is a little difficult grasping and absorbing that concept when you see kids with sunken eyes selling you ‘cookies’ in the Nimbin(Marijuana) Museum and along the street. People there looked exceptionally happy though. Maybe it works for them, or maybe it’s the weed.

And to the most avid of fans, the trusty little iBook encountered a little glitch. It happens to the best of us. But rejoice, she’s back in business, and so am I.

This epoch of my life, the past nine months, albeit turbulent, has been by far, the best time ever. And so we decided to have a go at a simple celebration.
